This oil is 30”x 40”on heavy cotton canvas. It is inspired by a pastel that I created plein air on a mountaintop overlooking the Dip Creek and Lake Nacimiento at sunset. The magic hour glow over the hills and treetops guided the color choices. The oil paint was applied primarily with small foam rollers and then a little calligraphy with oil sticks. Super fun to do.
