This pastel was done on location on the John Day river in Oregon. We were lucky enough to score a permit for a trip in Spring 2026 and enjoyed crisp days and beautiful light through a most beautiful part of Oregon. Beautiful blue green sage bushes created an irresistible foreground for this 12” x 18” artwork.
