Anne was one of the founding artists of the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Virginia which opened in 1974 on the shores of the Potomac River. She was busy doing the logo and interior design for the building. The interior of a Philadelphia area automat was the inspiration for this piece which she created in 1976. She used a tiny swivel knife to hand cut all the stencils and hand-pulled the edition of 80 prints. There are just a few prints remaining, in like new condition. They measure 22.5 x 28.5.
She signed it Anne Duncan (Anne returned to her maiden name Laddon in 1978).
Prints on paper are also available by request.
