Laddon’s father (M.B. Laddon) and grandfather (I.M. Laddon) were aerospace engineers so she created this piece in 1977 in honor of them, with her own style and color. It is based on a P.T.-17 a pilot training plane from the 1940s which was on display at the Air & Space Museum in Washington D.C.
Only 8 serigraphs from the original edition of 80 remain and they are in like new conditions. However, quality giclee reproductions are available in various sizes.
Prints on paper are also available by request.
